The song (featuring Erlend Tait on lead guitar) was written, performed and recorded by Mike Hay. I came up with the idea of putting together a music video for the song in the hope that it could generate some interest whilst I could get back to finishing off the debut album. The video is a love letter to the films of John Carpenter and I am truly humbled and amazed with the response it has had on the international film festival circuit. So far, it has been awarded ‘official selection’ status to several festivals, including placing in the selection shortlist for the 2018 International Sound & Film Music Festival alongside giants such as Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, Jonny Greenwood, Hans Zimmer and John Williams!
